Weird smell after clutch master cylinder change

Had clutch pedal of '07 CRV drop and took it in to clutch place who fitted new master cylinder. Had to drive it down from West Midlands to Dorset the next day and back a couple of days later. There is a weird smell now though... Kind of a hot chemically smell. Was still there after coming back, so probably had a good 8 hours of driving. Any ideas if this might be linked or is it just coincidental and something else smelling?

Don't spend any more time asking the internet, take it back immediately as they need to confirm whether it is related or not.

Thanks, it was the right call. Was a leaking injector seal in the end causing the smell. Just happened on day after getting cylinder done so made me wonder if might be related, but no!
