My engine light came on last week after noticing some acceleration issues on a long drive. On the whole, the car still runs okay, but it limps sometimes and doesn't speed up as well.

I ran a diagnostic and was told I need to replace the turbo actuator/wastegate. On looking online, I can't find a definitive item I need to order as the details aren't always clear.

Can anybody assist me here?

All I know is that the Tucsons have a range of different parts depending on the manufacturing year.

I have a HYUNDAI TUCSON SPECIAL EDITIONS - 1.6 TGDi 2018

Thanks in advance.

Ring or visit your local dealer for a written quote - they should provide the part number which will help.

Have the vehicle test and diagnosed properly before buying parts on a whim.

The variable vanes in the turbo will be sooted up, if accessable fill the exhaust side with Mr muscle oven cleaner for a few hours then work the actuator by hand until free YouTube will provide plenty of examples.
