Vapour Proof Fuel Hose
Discussion
So my new escort has been plumbed with speed flow 100, which is just regular fuel line and isn't vapour proof so the car smells of petrol.
Before I start replacing with teflon, has anyone found a vapour proof fuel house that can be used with swivel seal AN fittings?
Gates have a product called barricade, but I've only seen it to 3/8 which will be AN-6. I'm waiting on an email from them to see if it's compatible.
Just wondering if anyone has used anything else, otherwise I'll have to change out all the hose and fittings at significant expense.

I've used teflon lined braided hose with swivel AN fittings on the racecars, it's the easiest way to go about fuel lines short of OEM or hard lines.
Teflon or PTFE is what I will use if I can't find a hose that doesn't work with my current fittings. But before I spend 2 grand on the conversion im looking for an alternative hose.Speedflow actually quote gates barricade on their website, but it's not easy to get hold of in the UK. Think I'll just try it for the lines in the fuel cell for now as that is where I have the most fittings. It won't cost much to convert to teflon for the two hoses running through the car.
And yes, I already have a few improvements in mind, I didn't plumb it. I can tee direct to the primary filter, rather than the loop.
The tee is to another small tank in the boot, this is a mid mounted tank behind the driver in an enclosed firewall.
Edit: I don't think the barricade hose can be used with swivel seal (100) fittings anyway, so looks like I'll have to bite the bullet.

Update, I'll try the raceflux RH1 hose.
From the supplier:
The speedflow fittings look like they conform to the AN standards. Our hose can be used with standard AN fittings. The RH1 has a FKM/Viton liner and is E85 compliant. Looking at the specs for their series 100 hose, the RH1 should solve you fuel smell issues.
