As a very broad brushed rule of thumb, do injectors want to closer to the throttle butterfly or the valve/cylinder in a petrol engine? Or does it depend on whether youre looking for power or torque out of the engine?

Cars with dual injector setups seem to run the lower injectors for part load and switch in the upper injectors for full load. I guess the lower injectors give you less wall wetting and better distribution, and the upper injectors give you more evaporative cooling.
