What’s this part on my 2008 Meriva?

Oil is leaking from this connector. Can anybody tell me what it is, what it does? Thanks!

Oil pressure switch. Very common on the XE/XEP engine family.

Ten minutes to replace, and a cheap part!

Any motor factor will stock it, and I think it’s something like a 17mm spanner you need to replace it. Easy job!
