2008 Mercedes c-class 320 cdi 11b800 fuelling problem
Discussion
Car runs flawlessly, except for the fact if you're doing say 60mph and really floor it,EML light comes,11b800 code and limp mode, clear the code and it goes away until you floor it again at 60.
So far i've replaced the fuel pressure sensor on the fuel rail and fuel quantity valve on the high pressure pump,no improvement.
Final thing before replacing the hp pump was the fuel pressure regulator on the right hand rail,i treated it to a genuine Mercedes regulator(other sensors i replaced were Bosch)
Car started after a 'long' series of tries and when it did it drove about 20ft,eml came on and it cut out lol,i put old regulator back on and car started fine.
So,two questions, what in the hell would the car not like about a new Merc regulator??,and can a high pressure pump on the way out be fine but falter under a high fuel demand at 60mph?
Thanks.
