Virtually every part of the exhaust system on a car has a "Sports or Free Flow" upgrade version available, ie Sports Cats' etc.
Is there such an upgrade for the Petrol Particulate Filter ? I realise that it can be removed/deleted etc but this is not a viable option for a road legal car so was just wondering if there was any alternative.
Cheers
Brian.

Do you mean the fuel filter? What would be the purpose of your proposed 'free flow' version?

No he means the Petrol Particle Filter that is now being fitted in the exhaust systems on some petrol models just like DPFs that have been fitted to diesel models for some time now.

Exactly that but as I cannot find any reference to one I assume that they don't exist.

They’re often referred to as GPF’s, for Gasoline.

Don’t know if that helps the search?

It seems the mainstream is undecided on the name yet! It’s referred to by many, but I’ve always known it as the OPF.

Thanks again,
GPF does open up possibilities.
