Stage 1 Alfa Giulietta
Discussion
Hi,
I've been recently looking into getting a stage 1 remap for my alfa giulietta QV and have found several options available. However one thing I'm not sure about is I've been given a quote of around 400Nm torque post remap (celtic tuning package). Given the car is FWD I don't want to compromise handling where it constantly wheelspins pulling away but I still want to boost performance. Has anyone got experience with remaps in alfas that can offer any advice as to whether its worthwhile?
Cheers

Funkstar Deluxe had his Celtic Stage 1 mapped and seems to be very happy :
"The car now dynos at ~290bhp, 300lb/ft and revs out to 7500RPM (not that I'm doing that to be fair). Drives well, with no flat spots or issues. I've done about 500 miles since the remap - so still early days to be fair. Although even the LSD and PS2s struggle to keep her straight when under full throttle now (all part of the fun)"
Celtic suggest St 1 torque is 280lb/ft (380Nm)
