Morning all.

new here so take it easy on me but i know absolutely nothing about cars so im hoping you kind people can help

Essentially ive got a weird noise with my 2017 Mitsubishi ASX which happens when driving the car from cold. and happens when i drive up a slight incline.

i have recorded the noise and have a video of it but i cant post links as im a newbie.

the noise is sort of a high pitched whistle/grinding noise.

ive taken it to the garage yesterday and they have said that its not the fan belt, and the break conditions are okay. it was overdue on its service by 6 weeks so got that done yesterday.

just wondering what could be causing the noise? its a new noise and has only been happening for a about 10 days max. but no warning lights on the dash and driving the car seems fine other than this noise which sort of disappears after a while.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any idea which part of the car it's coming from? Might be anything from a steering rack (front) to a sticky handbrake drum (rear).

yeah this is a tricky one, to me it sounds like it might be coming from the front wheels

Could be wheel bearings. Take it to your trusted independent garage.
