Astra J Cutting Out

Hi everyone!

Not sure if this is actually an issue or not but thought I'd get some thoughts.

Occasionally when I low revs (junction, traffic) the engine in my Astra J ('62) Sri will cut out with no warning light, doesn't feel like it is stalling. I can restart it with no issue. This doesn't happen that often.

Anyone had this happen to them or have any ideas on what the issue could be?

If it's a petrol engine, you may have a sticky idle air control valve.
