Not an expert but have a little experience. Carbon build-up in the engine is a very common issue which usually shows itself as a stuttering along with a P100 fault code. Given the P100 is a Mass Air Flow sensor code, I wonder whether your engine has the build-up but is displaying slightly different symptoms than normal?

Could be , i only do 20 miles a day wonder if it’s not doing enough trips to get warm , would that cause a stall ??

Yea have contacted mazda they had a recall for my year for engineering software can cause car to stall my vins not in it but worth a try , but they have not responded
