Missed a gear/crunched at high rpm... no harm done?
Discussion
Booted it down a slip road earlier and managed to not engage 3rd properly at about 6000rpm..... felt a very definite clonk of rejection and a nasty crunch from the transaxle, before engaging it properly (this time with the clutch pressed properly )
Only had the transaxle oil changed a few months ago. Car was fine after - should be OK just the once?

Whatever gear it was that you had your mishap with, what does it feel like to use? Does it just engage as easily as it used to? No extra vibrations or noises etc?
Everybody is going to mess up with a manual box at some point. They are resistant to the odd mistake depending on the severity of it in terms of speed and inertia that it was under at the time.
If it feels no different to how it was, I personally wouldn't worry if it was my car. I've crunched mine a few times with no permanent effect
