Oil warning light...but level is fine
Discussion
80% of the time when I turn the ignition on, I get a "Oil Level Low - Top Up" warning light. But when I check the oil level, it's fine. So I'm assuming it's either a) low oil pressure, or b) a faulty sensor.
How do I diagnose which it is? Diagnostic machine? If so, nay recommendations? I've got one for my Discovery but it's VIN locked.

I can’t believe it’s low pressure. If it was you’d either get a different warning message or the engine would stop.
It can hardly be oil pressure if he has not even started the engine yet. And the message seems pretty clear it has zero to do with oil pressure. So either the oil is low, or the level sensor/wiring is not working correctly
