Laguna Warning Light
Discussion
Picked up a '10' plate Laguna yesterday afternoon.
Driven it for 100 miles & this morning I have got a 'Check anti-pollution system' message warning light on.
I'm working away from home from now until Sunday (unable too get back too the dealer until Monday) & I need the car for work.
Question is this - will I damage the engine if I drive the car with the warning showing?

Petrol or diesel?
Have had this on a 1.5dci Megane. Drove it for a thousand miles or so. Dpf needed a regen. Could also be a failing injector if it's diesel. Or possibly a lambda sensor if petrol.
No, I doubt you'll wreck the engine. It may go into limp mode though.
What it's telling you is there's too much pollution coming out of the exhaust. Which may or may not be true. It's French, they love a bit of drama, so make every warning sound like the end is nigh. Not quite so dramatic as the Italians though.
