Differential parts manufacturer
Discussion
Hi Guys,
Hoping to harness the knowledge of pistonheads for a differential problem.
My Mx5 runs a GKN differential with clutch plates.
They break up easily with track use.
I would like to find a company that can manufacture the clutch plates for me. The diff is scrap when the plates break.
Anyone know a company that can do this?

there'd be no real way to improve it without mods to enable a much bigger corner radius, or welding 'em in like the irish lot do
If the problem is stress in a sharp corner, you may find that filing the radius out reduces the problem even though it is slightly weakening the tab by producing a neck at that point..Gassing Station | Engines & Drivetrain | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
