It's a std 3.9 9.35 block which has been re-bored, decked, the heads have been skimmed as well. That alone will up the CR a bit further. It's going into a Land Rover 90 and staying on carbs and I'd like to keep the drivability so not too peaky.

Question: What Cam to keep the nice low end grunt?

Is the Real Steel Hurricane any good or should I be looking at a Kent H180?

I will say RS do a good line of cams although I have never used one of their stump puller varieties like your after scratchchin due to the cars light weight and use many TVR owners use their more radical grinds with good results , maybe a call to RS or V8 Developments is in order

Thanks - just canvasing opinions before going to the vendor.

RS are just up the road from me so there may be a trip anyway to collect the bits to put the engine back together.
