Hello to all.
I have an Opel Astra H GTC 1.9 2007. A few monhts back I had to order a repair on my turbo since it was loud and maybe blew a little more smoke then it was supposed to.
My problem is no matter what, the car blows smoke when the turbo engages( ~2200rpm). After a while of driving it reduces.
When starting the car and putting it to first gear to start moving I have to be careful not to stall the engine(never happened) like it’s tired and has to wake up. Putting to second gear-smoke and same with third. Sometimes around 1500rpm if I floor it down no matter the gear it literally does not increase speed, as if I wasn’t even on the pedal, in this case I just let go and slowly increase speed to make him comfortable..Also when flooring it down in third gear and the turbo engages it makes some kind of whoosing sound(not turbo whistle- like when u whistle with mouth but only in one tone) altough this happens rarely since when the mechanic sat in the car we couldnt hear it anymore( maybe this only happens when the car isnt warmed up.?)
When I have no check engine light and floor it in every gear until the fourth, it obviously lights up… and then after a few days it goes away.
When connected to computer it shows P2279.
It stayed connected while I was driving and flooring it, all the pressure levels were on point and nothing seemed out of ordinary so my mechanic said theres nothing he can do.
I clear out the filters( by driving at around 3000rpm, for a minute or so) once every two weeks or so.
Summary: when starting its so tired I have pay attention not to stall—blows black smoke every time turbo engages in 2nd and 3rd——and my friends also noticed when starting the car from a complete stop and running in neutral, the motor has one more sound together with the engine. I can’t identify it, it is just louder then normal cars.

Sorry to type so much but I have noone to turn to and I just feel that something is not right with the turbo.
I hope you can make something out of this text since I’m not a native speaker.

Hope everyone a good day and save driving,
V

What I forgot is no matter how much I drove when turning off the car it doens’t nicely turn off but rather it “collapses”.
Like “omg thank god I dont have to keep running”

Not sure if you're using an online translator or something, but descriptions seem odd.

But considering you appear to be describing a major loss of power, and your "mechanic" says everything is "on point".....go and find a competent mechanic. Because whoever has looked at the car, must be blind ( or stupid )

And holding it at 3000rpm is not going to clean any filters out.

Find a proper reputable garage in your area. There could be one, or a multitude of problems causing the loss of power
