Did it smoke before lots of things were changed?

Were the rings changed?

What are the injectors like ? Maybe they are a bit shagged and can't handle the extra 'ooommmpff' ?

Might it be something to do with the dpf delete and the decat?

Ive yet to see a BMW diesel that has been mapped not smoke from the moment after remapping no matter what mileage or age is on the car it was never built to handle all the extra boost these maps put through the car assuming its not just extra unburnt fuel that the map is using to try and keep everything cool could also be DPF delete not catching all the soot/oil anymore or EGR or swirl flaps but we dont know what model age year your car is but its probably just fooked
