Pipercross backplate confusion

Ive just acquired a Tiger Super 6 Kit Car running Mikuni ZXR carbs.

it currently has a knackered old Pipercross susage air filter that is falling to bits, the car has a backplate for the filter but im not sure which one it is... there seems to be 2 available the PX500 and the PX600, does anyone know how to tell which one mine is or if the backplate fits both?, id rather not buy another one needlessly if the one i have would fit.

600 is 435mm x 190mm, 500 is 370 x 170mm - backplates are specific to each.

Don’t throw the old sausage filter away, I’ll have it…
I am trying to modify one to fit a tight engine bay.
