Hi all,

I'm looking for an ignition management system that will also provide a boost retard function for my supercharged Essex V6 project.

There's an MSD kit that appears to cover all the bases - anyone have any experience of these and an idea of the best place to source one? Or any alternative suggestions?

Go full engine management.

Apexi used to do some ignition timing "adjusters" for want of a better word. Although finding a wiring diagram for a UK car isnt going to be easy.
Micro Dynamics also used to do crude devices, similar to what the MSD might do.

By full management I take it you mean fuelling as well as ignition?

But I guess another option would be, buy the cheapest re-programmable ecu you can, and only use its ignition functions, although using fuel and ignition would give obvious benefits for such a project
