would a car with a k&n panel filter profit some more if i instal the k&n 57i induction kit as well?

well it depends. some people actualy say you can loose power with an induction kit! this is bacause they generaly pull hot air in from the under bonnet area. where as a conventional induction box will pull cold air from the from of the car! so using a pannel fillter may be the best of both worlds!

but for the ultimate i would build you own air box with an induction kit inside (unless someone alreay does then just duy that ). then you can route as much cold air of the front end as you like/can and you still get the noise/performance gains of the cone filtter! but it is more labour intensive!

Why use two filters!?! Surely the air only needs to be filtered once by one or the other.

I would stick with the k&n panel because it should be nice and cool in the standard housing. (Which is good)

No. The '57i' is designed to replace the original panel air filter. By running the two filters the engine will have difficulty to breathe and would result in decrease in power. Just stick with your panel filter.
