Have ordered the bits I need from motorcycle catalouge, 12v indicators, 12v flasher unit, relay and wire, indicator switch, etc etc.

My car has been converted to 12v and recently rewired by previous owner so no worries there, other than overheating coil which is being attended to.

Can any kind soul provide an idiots guide to the electrical fitting please.

Ignition-controlled live to input terminal of flasher unit

Main output terminal of flasher unit to common terminal of switch

One of the other terminals to both indicators on one side of the car

Other other terminal to both indicators on the other side of the car

Indicators earthed via bodywork

Tell-tale output of flasher unit to dashboard light

Other connection of dashboard light to earth.
