Hi can anybody help
i have a fiat tc 2ltr running on 40mm twin jenvey throttle bodies and a DTA ecu none of the mapping has been changed
whats happening is engine starts and runs but very very rich if let tick over plugs foul up and drops cylinders remove plugs clean and dry and then same happens again
Engine has new correct plugs new leads timing spot on
could it be injectors or to high fuel pressure i have checked injectors and they shut off ok

Might be worth asking the mods to move your thread to the Home Mechanics section if you don't get further replies.

Its a long story bought the car not running but engine had been race built by a professional who i been talking to
This is the problem i have found but do know been few years since rebuilt done and engine was never run valve been checked etc
So really, the ecu has probably never been tuned for this setup, so you cannot determine whether it's just running bad as it's never been tuned, or there is a fault of some kind. This is the problem i have found but do know been few years since rebuilt done and engine was never run valve been checked etc
As it seems most of the package is unknown to you ?
So there maybe isnt a problem, it just needs tuned...as you're saying you have never actually seen it run correctly ?
