Any one now how easy it would be to transplant an S2000 engine into another rwd car ? Thinking of putting one in my MGB however as it is a VTEC would re-mapping the ECU be a problem? my MG is getting on for 250 kg lighter so figure the standard map would not be entirely satisfactory.

ECU is the least of the fitting problems.

Getting a piggy-back or an a-market ECU is probably the way to go.

I'd be thinking along the lines of.....Is it a typical Honda engine that rotates anti-clockwise ?

You want your MGB to go forwards, not backwards. Mapping wouldnt be a major concern with the many aftermarket ecu's available.

The K20 engine rotates in a conventional fashion, so problems there.

As for remapping a PCM, the variable valve timing on both cams and cam lift take some working out, the Hondata K-pro is the way to go with regards to a remap of the control module.
