RV8 conrod centres

I don't suppose that anyone on here knows the rod centre distance for the std rover V8 con-rod?

According to the 3.5/3.9/4.2 LR Overhaul Manual its:

143.71 to 143.81mm

5.667 inches

just trying to work out some forces on the piston and possibly source some better rods at a later date

You could get a few from work .. and build some decent 4 valve heads while you are there

Sadly or not I no longer work for Cossie and am now at Zeroshift, and and selfishly they never used to make rods with big enough bearing diameters for the old plodder

Sounds like you have a better future there .. Cossie looks to have it's ups and downs..
