Pinto inlet water take off. Help.
Discussion
Another Pinto question.
I need to get an angled water take off for my twin carb manifold, as if it comes straight out like the old one [which i've just broke trying to remove!) then it obstructs the carb linkage.
Where can I get angled take offs from? I've seen one in Burtons, but it's at 135deg, which still might obstruct the linkage. Could do with on at 90deg if possible.
Help..
Cheers, Greg.

You sure you can screw a 90 degree elbow in without it fouling the manifold 'inlet pipes'?
Been a long time since I ran a Pinto engine with sidedraughts but from memory there isn't much room around the water take off hole.
All mine ran straight connector with top mounted throttle linkage.

No, I am not sure!
I managed to find a 90 degree elbow one on Burton's website, and have decided to order it anyway. I bought the carbs 2nd hand, on the manifold with the linkage already on it. I am curious as to how the previous owner managed to route his pipes with the straight take off. Will see in the next few days how it works out...
