At what kind of mileage ought the belts to be changed on my Volvo C70 T5 coupe? I've had it from new; it's a 2000 model on a 'W' plate - coming up to 64K miles.

My owner's handbook doesn't offer any advice along these lines and nor has anything come up immediately doing a quick Google search - hence my asking the collective on here...

Haven't got the manual to hand, but from memory this should be in the "Technical specifications" chapter, on the page after the engine specs: IIRC it's 80000 miles, 120000 km.

Changing the belt early never hurts, especially if you intend to keep the car...

Many thanks for the pointer - I will have another look in the handbook tonight.

80K miles is good news - and indeed I do intend keeping the car for some time yet (it's so competant at what it does as a daily driver).

With some 16K miles in hand, it's not something I need to worry about for ~9 months or so I'd say - doing it at 75K miles to be safe.

Many Thanks.
