Ford Smax powershift problems in the cold.

So we have had an Smax powershift for 1 year now , about this time of the year when the colder weather starts ,every morning from cold the car will have a gearbox malfunction a few mins into the school run always on a corner or roundabout, I have to pull over turn the engine off and back on and it's fine for the rest of the day .
All through the summer the car was perfect ,could this be the gearbox oil ?

It would be a good idea to get it scanned for fault codes.

I got it scanned about this time last year when it was playing up and was o.k all they said was the gearbox oil was a bit hotter than normal

Did you or they stop to think about how unlikely that was, given that it happens a few minutes after a cold start in cold weather?

Did you get to the bottom of this? I have exactly the same issue.

I have exactly the same problem. Did you fine any solution?

Have you had it serviced? They need doing every 37.5k miles as far as I can remember
