Ime getting the martian with 2 heads treatment,so need some advice chaps.
Ime giving a minor service to a ZF6 Speed box,replacing seals & gaskets and oil,not the most common but still its used in a variety of cars.
The Drain and fill plugs were badly "mullered" so i need to replace them ,any ideas where i can get these plugs??
One of the plugs was so bad i had to drill and use an extractor to get the plug out,i used a telescopic magnet to retrieve the swarf but want to flush the box out and ive been advised to flush with parafin,then flush with gaerbox oil before the final fill.
What is the best oil to use on a ZF?
Btw ,i live in North Hampshire for the nearest dealer.

Are the plugs just a metric threaded item ?? Surely any machine shop could make you something if you cant buy off the shelf.
