Volkswagen Polo 1.2 E

I am considering buying a brand new Volkswagen Polo 1.2 E three door from my local Volkswagen dealership (I get a £2000 discount through the company that I work for if I buy brand new). I just wanted to know if anyone has had any problems or know of any problems with this car that I should be aware of?

Is the Polo really built as well as Volkswagen claim it is? I notice they offer a twelve year anti corrosion warranty. Any common faults or problems I should take into account?

I've now bought one and it is fantastic.

I have noticed that when I brake hard (not hard enough for the ABS to kick in) there is a continuous beep coming from the fuse box until I release the brake pedal. I have checked the manual but it dosen't say anything about this - any ideas what it could be?

Emergency brake assist?

Ah, I see (I didn't even know my car had this). But when it bleeps, I'm not braking THAT hard. Souldn't a warning light come up on the dash aswell then to alert me that brake assist is active?

A blown brake bulb perhaps?
