Hi all,

I am currently in the process of rebuilding my fiesta turbo after a hick-up with an injector and a melted piston . All is going well and I am now at the stage where I need to put the cam belt back on. The problem is the head has a Kent Cam and pulley, so there isn't any mark to find TDC. Am I going to need to take it back to a tuners to get this setup or is there a way of finding TDC with the Kent pulley?
It is an 1800 cvh (bigger bore) with a t3 conversion if this makes any difference.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Matt B.

First thing you need to do is find tdc, this has a dwell so its in the middle of that, now fit one protractor, now you should know the settings for your cam if not contact the cam maufactures and find the settings for your cam,set the valve timing on any cylinder you want to,you dont have to do it on number one,you will need a dail gauge for all the above work.

I have decided to take the car back to the company that built the engine to get this setup, as I do not have all of the tools required and do not want anything to go wrong.

Thanks very much
