There should be plenty of these engines about as they are pretty well bomb proof.
They also power the Toyota cars in the Japanese 500 series races ( 500 hp ) with very little modification.

Cheers, they gave me a quote for £800 plus VAT, and a 3 month warranty... ex japan...
freight was around 50-65 quid...
I was looking for a couple of Lexus V8s for about 5 months before I found a scrappy, Car Transplants, with 4 LS 400's in Nantwich in Cheshire. I bought two engines and gearboxes leaving one with a damaged cam sprocket ( no doubt going extremely cheaply) and a very nice 4.3 litre VVTI with 50k on the clock still in the car.
£850 for just an engine seems a bit expensive to me as I got mine for about a grand each with auto gearboxes, ECU's, ignitors,Mass airflow meter, ancilleries, fuel pumps and tanks, and exhaust system, complete with cats. etc In fact a complete engine and gearbox package ready to fit into my Cobras.
I think that there was a guy from Norway going after the 4.3 litre VVTi but it may be worth a call. See www.cartransplants.co.uk
Cheers,
Tony
