siezed pistons?
Discussion
Depends on how they are seized, if the piston has melted and smeared itself all over the bore then you may need to machine them out. I recently stripped a seized Rover V8 ( see Rover V8 rebuild thread ) and it turned out that one of the pistons had simply rusted to the bore. I left it soaking in penetrating oil for a few days and it came out quite easily. HTH

Is this a table project?

Well figured out Holmes.... not difficult I suppose
I've had they threads bookmarked for about a year but never got round to actually doing anything about it. Now that they have resurfaced has just reminded me that I need a table for the living room and what a perfect opportunity it is to convince the girlfriend.
I managed to jigsaw through the current one by mistake, oops.
I hate the idea of using a perfectly good engine hence the question, and my garage is about to have a little more space for a couple of months.
