Orion 'F' reg - eng cuts when revs fall below 1k
Discussion
Yesterday I left my lights on and had to bump start the car - I did this but flooded the engine - I left the car for a while to drain, then returned later with a kind gentleman who had jump leads.
The car started fine, but was overheating slightly (although there was heavy traffic) also the heat dropped when I had enought speed to cool the engine.
Anyway, about 100 yards from my house I noticed that as I was dropping the revs the engine was struggling and actually cutting out after a few seconds.
I test drove it again and it's still happening - the car usually idles at around 700rpm so I would doubt it's an idler screw problem - I think the bump starting may have damaged something.
Someone please help!!
Many thanks
