Where could I get bellhouse to fit a T5 into a ford 2.8 V6?

I know flowtech racing ltd once had this.
Burton only sell for the Essex.

I'm looking for something similar.

there's a guy in norway of all places that makes one, oter than that looks like it's an adaptor plate onto a regular T5 cossie bellhousing..?

Not so sure. i`ve looked at bellhousing photos on the U.S. ebay for the 4.0 sohc to t5 and the mounting for the starter is on the opposite side. think its to free up space for the steering rack.

anyone confirm this?

are you running the 24v onto the type 9 gearbox then cosworthcapri?
we've thought about running the cr like that for testing the suspension out until we can get a suitable gearbox situation sorted out .. but we don't want it to go bang in the first 10 yeards

our type 9 was rebuilt by bernie at competition transmission systems so we're confident it's a good one of it's kind .. but even the best rebyuilt xr4i gearbox like ours might struggle with repeeated 280bhp through it ...

Cosworthcapri, I've been told the starter isn't on the other side because there isn't room for it, or something like that so the Stang bell should be suitable.

Jules, later today I have 4 type 9 bells arriving and one mustang bell which may be up for sale So I'll have a solution shortly. Oh, the billet girdles done to, pukka!

Im sure someone could make, or maybe does make a bellhouisng to suit a toyota box. That would solve any reliability problems.
The toyota propshaft is about twice the size of the weedy Ford item too.

yes the 24v though the type 9, but i daren`t toast it. it allows me to crawl about. but its only the stock 195bhp.

i was thinking of making a bracket to mate the t5 to the type 9 bellhousing. as the t5 has a longer input shaft. but it will still require some hefty machining as i recon it would be 3/4 in thick steel plate.

Nice Pics Boostedls1

the bell housing has the clutch fork on the other side, so i think space will be tight. i`m sure Boostedls1 has a solution.
