Engine weights?

Anyone know how much a RV8 engine weighs?
What would be a "Heavy engine" for a sportscar?
I know thats "how long is a piece of string" but you get the gist.

Depends on which rover it is. New ones ala 4.6 have heavier internals and accessories. An alternative question might be what weight do you want to have or what power to weight?

I was lookin in a US hotrod mag while I was away.
1050hp weighing 450ish lbs.
Seems like a hell of a power to weight ratio to me.
Although it didnt say that ran on pump gas

The 850hp one did though. Sodding expensive things though.
