It occurred to me the other day that my capri is getting such lowly fuel economy, i might as well fit dcoes so i can have the performance to match. all very easy, theres loads of pairs available secondhand, but what do i need to look for with regards to the carb nos? ive found one pair that i like the look of but the numbers are not quite sequential. ie theyre xxxx300 and xxxx376 between the two. the model numbers ARE the same however. something like DCOE40B. will i be ok?
Also, im under no illusion as to how easy it will be to mate a single throttle to a dcoe setup. does anyone have any tips or know of pitfalls to avoid?
oh yeah - for those who helped with my cold running problem, ive got a new voltage stabiliser, ill fit it and post in my original thread when i get somewhere!
