I used an edelbrock, which i would presume is a dual-plane - which worked well.
The offy manifold is similar, I think its lower than the edelbrock.
Not aware of any single plane manifolds for rv8 - what's you app? - 4x4 or fast road or race?

The injection manifold is quite a good design considering its vintage.

Depends what you want it for. Offy 360 and huffaker are single plane, better for upper rpm as it got a big o'd runner. Dual plane from JWR is said to be better for high velocity when only the primary chokes are working but when 4 chokes are working the divider reduces the port cross section.

I'd go for the edlebrock as that's the newest kid on the block

See, you learn something everyday.

I swapped my dual plane for a single plane (were talking chevy here, but concept is the same) - for my application (4x4) the single plane just didn't work, they are for flat out - high rpm performance. Dual planes are a good compromise for most street applications.

I did find that the edelbrock manifold on the rover required a bit of port matching though.
