Hi there

Anyone got a 405 that they have changed a waterpump on ? Is it fairly easy to get too / replace as a friend has asked me to change theirs if I get the time due to a leak and not wanting to pay Peugeot £500 to do it !!

if its the same as a 306,then its a cam belt change also on the cards.Don't leave it too long, they are prone to suddenly seize up and snap the belt, rendering the engine as a boat anchor.

I'd allow about 4 hours to do this one. New timing belt but tensioner should be ok. Perhaps a new auxilliary belt may be needed. BTW used antifreeze shuld not be tipped down the drain, recycling centres may take it. There may be options on the pump though, if I rembember correctly.
