Hi All.

I have fractured my oil cooler take of plate (not a sandwich, just an adaptor)on my SB chevy and need a new one pretty urgently. Rang Mocal and they are out of stock for 6 weeks

Anyone know where I can get one pretty sharpish? Real steel only do the whole filter re-locate kit, and I just need a new plate..

man TIA

I actually just bought one for my LS1 engine, but not sure if it will fit yet, so it may be for sale.

I bought it from Earls
www.earls.co.uk

I'll check tonight if its any use to me, if not, Are you interested ??

Could try Speedflow (www.speedflow.co.uk 0870 225 0097). May have sandwich plate in stock, not sure if they source from Mocal. Have found them helpful in past.

I suspect you have the TOP16A.
Try Think Automotve (as suggested) or BGC Motorsport|www.bgcmotorsport.co.uk

They both list them.

Steve

It's what I have on mine.

I wonder if it will fit.

The Rover pump plate I bought a couple of years ago from Mocal didnt fit my 4.6 engine, despite claims it would fit all RV8's, and they wouldnt answer emails when I tried to complain..

Think......guess what I was thinking.

Thankyou all, got one from earls in the end.

Thanks to Matt for posting and I'm sure it was an honest mistake (not wanting to lose anyone their job !!) - always enjoyed the trip down to Think - always very helpful..

Stevie,
send it back and we'll give you a credit as long as it's in saleable condition. Sorry we obviously spend too much time on forums and not enough on emails.
