Somehow I have talked myself in to changing a head gasket for a mate.

The car is a '98 525. I have no experience of Deutsche technic stuff. Any advice on sources of info, parts etc. or general advice?

All assistance gratefully received.

Mate was quoted £800+ buy Munich Legends. I reckon on parts including M52 timing tool kit being around £300 plus say £50 for a head skim.
