Despite googling for hours, I can't find anywhere that sells the type of hose clip that you open with a pair of pliers?

They have two legs on one side and one on the other that are the width of a pair of pliers, I need a selection of sizes as I am painting and cleaning uo the spare engine for my Kit(stainless would be great).

Also need to know whether these clips are OK with Silicon hoses as I would like to use these on all the smaller water hoses (loads) and the vacuum hoses for the engine management.

Thanks
Nick

It's a legend 2.7 engine with a lot of small water pipes and very little clearance/access, I think thats why they have them fitted as standard. Looks neater too!

They were all over the engine on my MK1 MR2 when I had it. God knows if Toyota stock them.....

I was looking at getting a stock of them, based on the fact that Rover wanted £11 per wheel nut and I got the exact same nut for £1.50 I think after-market is the way to go

Washing machines use those clips. Try the local laybys for dumped washing machines, or a washing machine spares shop.
