convert an RX 7 rotary to run on LPG?
Given they're crap fuel consumption they'd be an ideal candidate for conversion as you'd make your money back on the conversion in no time.
I'm also assuming that you'd change the injectors and have a proper efi setup not some suspect veturi injection setups.
are there any major problems?
Just a thought.

Your problem will be finding someone prepared to 'experiment' with the setup rather than fitting 'Kit36' or whatever by following the instructions.
The induction annular ring types would be far easier to install and you could do it yourself. Some of them are also closed loop so can use your existing lambda sensor.

I dont see any reason why any spark IC engine couldnt be converted.
Most recent gas injection systems appear to use the oe ecu, controlling the gas injectors, instead of the petrol injectors.
I dont know the full details of these systems, but if that is the case, then it opens up a wide range of possibilities, for using aftermarket ecu's so you have full control over the fuelling and ignition for tuning.
