How many hours to...

Well it can take weeks/months if youre going to do it right. It takes time to get machinework done (if needed), not to mention all the effort involved in checking tolerances, clearances, chamber volume's etc etc.
And that dosent include time taken to check fits, dry buildups, parts procurement, cleaning, inspecting etc etc (im sure you get the picture).
Its a lot of work to do it right, but not much to do it wrong.
Were you thinking of doing it yourself btw?

To be honest Gaz, there isnt a "garage" that id trust to do all the work.
Im not being unkind to them either when i say from experience that most of them are jockeys and hammer monkeys who have sweet F/A finesse when dealing with your intricate engine.
Would you entrust it to someone who uses "emery" cloth to dress crankpins and block faces? Nope! Nor me, yet ive seen it done by a "reputable" performance shop.
If you think youre capable, then have a go, but read up on it first, get some good material to browse, talk to different people (oops you are!) and get opinions before you go for it.
Above all, be careful who you trust with your engine.
