Anyone used the Zeitronix kit? www.zeitronix.com/Products/zt2/zt2.htm

At £150 to get it over here it barely seems worth getting the soldering iron out and making one from a kit, plus the datalogging straight to laptop is a big plus for me.

It sure is cheap but aren't the best sensors to use a 5 wire NTK sensor like here:

www.techedge.com.au/vehicle/wbo2/wbntk.htm

I fancy the Oz product but it's more expensive. Still, I can wait for a while.

The NTK sensor is getting hard to find IIRC and the Bosch 5 wire sensor is accurate enough, I suspect any off the shelf kit will be using the Bosch sensor as its available in larger numbers. I think the difference in accuracy is only about +/- 1% anyway

The NTK is very hard to get, and bloody expensive. Nearly all the new range of widebands are using an easily sourced Bosch sensor.

Does unburnt oil bugger up lambda sensors? If not, it'd be much nicer than doing plug chops on an air-cooled two-stroke.

I will cost you closer to £200 after carriage and if you get clobbered for inport duty.

Have it sent 'as a gift' to avoid import duty.
