PistonHeads Annual Service '24 - Bicester Heritage 10 August
Discussion
Following the overwhelming success of our Anniversary Party at Bicester Heritage last year with 6,000+ people attending, we're heading back with our 'Annual Service' this year on 10 August 2024.

Applied - Are you meant to get an email confirming your application?
SurveyMonkey isn't that advanced I'm afraid but you should have been shown a message to confirm your application was sent. We haven't set a hard cut off date yet for applications, but will be in touch with everyone either way closer to the event

I registered interest but not received any way of buying the ticket yet - anyone able to post up a link here?
That's odd! Everything you need to know is here

I've had my car accepted to the Asian lawn area, but also have a readers ride thread too. Unsure if there is a real difference between the two of them, and without sounding egotistic which one would be the better place to park?
If it helps, I'm not worried about being parked in the rain. But am at another event in Bicester the week beforehand so maybe parking inside a hanger would be a change of scenery to parking outside?
If you reply to the displaycars email address I'm sure we can find a spot for you in the hangar in the Readers' Car area!If it helps, I'm not worried about being parked in the rain. Hey Ben,
I sent an email last week regarding displaying a couple of YangWang vehicles - is this something you’d like to make happen?
I believe my colleague Nathan has been talking to you but I'll confirm and get back to you ASAP.I sent an email last week regarding displaying a couple of YangWang vehicles - is this something you’d like to make happen?

I wanted to display my Challenger in the American area as it was one of the cars requested, but I can't get a ticket!
You can buy tickets here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/pistonheads-annual-...viper2day said:
is there a list anywhere of the cars that are attending , i keen to know if any Dodge Vipers are going ???
thanks
Les
We won't be publishing a list of all display cars I'm afraid as there's over 250 of them, but there will be a Viper there on the American lawn thanks
Les

Good morning, I have been accepted to exhibit my Lexus at the annual service, 10th August. Do I still need to buy tickets for myself and my son to enter on the day?
Yes everyone at the event requires a ticket for entry, thank you.mischmaster said:
Thanks all. Those that were directed to performance parking last year, was this 9am onwards or were you able to arrive prior to this?
Yes 09:00 onwards for performance parking - there's space for circa 500 cars and it can be accessed from the south or west gates. We'll have an article going up tomorrow with the event map and some more details

So I had applied to display my car, but I did not receive an email one way or another. Is there any way to confirm at this point whether or not something got lost? Not that I’m bothered either way.
I can't find any application using the email address on your account - feel free to email us at displaycars@pistonheads.com with the email address you used and we can check for you.tonymor said:
I’m going on Saturday with my wife and daughter. If they want to step out to Bicester village will they be able to re enter the ph party?
Tickets can only be scanned once I'm afraid and we don't have stamps or anything like that for re-entry - something we'll have to think about for next year! Thanks everyone for the feedback here. As Matt mentioned we had a higher amount of no shows for the display areas this year - up to 50% for some lawns which is why they felt light. We totally understand it's a big commitment to arrive early and spend the day on site, so we'll be working on this for next year.
For those that compare our event to a Scramble - we like to think we offer something a little different and remember this was only our second large scale event, whereas there have been dozens of Scrambles now. So we're learning fast and hopefully they'll get better every year.
Display parking at Scrambles is done by ballot and people are left to find their own place in the technical site, whereas we try to put a lot more curation into our displays. This is something we can ask about in our post event survey though, as it could help tackle how we fill up the technical site.
We'll be sending out the survey in due course to get constructive feedback and of course feel free to share here too

Hi Ben, are the dates for 2025 set yet so those of us thinking way ahead can go ahead and block the date on our diaries so our partners don't commit us to something else, yet?
It’s just been announced on Facebook as 09 August. Signup is here https://link.pistonheads.com/join/63g/annual-servi...Gassing Station | Events & Meetings | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
