Quay for My Car ...Poole Quay

If you are visiting Poole between the months of May and August, Friday evenings herald the return of "Quay for my Car" on Poole Quay, kicking off at 6pm.

"Quay for my Car", in conjunction with the Daily Echo, promises to produce a wonderful show of cars, or perhaps you want to show your own car ! The Daily Echo has joined forces with Poole Tourism to create the event from May to August that will see gatherings on Poole Quay of the following cars :

1st Friday of each month - Red Open Top Sports Cars

2nd Friday of each month - Mini Mania, both old & new !

3rd Friday of each month - Beetle Mania, both old & new !

4th Friday of each month - New Theme night - Can/Am - Canadian American cars

5th Friday of each month - Audi TT

Am I the only one who gets the impressoin that this must be organised by someone with little or no knowledge of cars?

It was Smarts on the 5th Friday last year .... I think the TT's are thanks to sponsorship from the local Audi dealer.

Jan, April, July and Decemeber have 5 Fridays this year.

Well if you do don’t forget Classics on the Prom in Bournemouth Sunday 11 April 2004 to Sunday 26 September 2004 every Sunday evening from 4pm.Visitors are welcome to view the colourful and ever-changing weekly line-up of vintage and modern classics. This event regularly attracts more than 100 vehicles dating from 1915 up to the early 1980's, ranging across all marques of British, European, American etc.
