Right in the long tradition of Nottingham PH Nights Out, it's time for a change, and this time it's.....
Mansfield
A little further north than Nottingham, and purely in the name of research I've been out there the last 2 Saturdays and I think a ggod time can be had by all
So who's up for it, the usual suspects? A few new faces, all are welcome, but there's a ban on Camera Phones
When we have a few names we'll sort out a date

Trust me, Mansfield makes Nottingham look like a quiet night in SlumberVille
2 weeks ago we ended up in a place where the female barstaff were wearing hot pants, bikini top, chaps, and cowboy hats
And the group I was out with last weekend travel from Nottingham to go out in Mansfield
Only problem we may have is finding a curry house, we usually just stumble into a 'sh1t in tray' merchants and then shuffle of to the taxi rank for a fight I'm sure there must be somewhere around there to grab something to eat, but more research would be needed

What is this, it's not Panto season yet

Anyway Matt, when we went in there last time, when you'd bottled it and stayed at home, she asked where you were, and why you hadn't phoned

Steve...she wanted to know `why he had phoned!' that bothered her more.....

In Mungo's own words....

"Debbie...sort of bungled her number into my phone..."

....Was that before or after you rolled your tongue around her 1 remaining front brown tooth!!

Anyway nothing wrong with Mansfield, Raceboy took a photograph of his night out last Saturday with his mates.. He's the one in the white shorts getting friendly with the bloke smiling in the blue top

I think we ought to go..

What could possibly go wrong this time..

don't tell me.. it's raceboy who is the kiddy on this one..I just think as he was George Hamilton in Nottingham,

he must be Tom Jones in Mansfield!

I just think we ought to give it a go and we may manage to temp some of the other PH members over?

You liked the Thurland and there cannot be a scummier
pub than that ...surely

I checked outpipe on my search engine and this website came up??

www.projo.com/specials/century/month8/829wows.htm

It quoted...

''The little Rhode Islander, who stands no taller than a two pound keg of mail-it-home salt water taffy, was in the grand tradition of convention orators. . . . His sonorous organ-like voice, now mellifluous and pleading, now cutting with a fine edge of sarcasm, now deep with a Doomsday emphasis on the dark days ahead, seemed to outpipe the convention hall pipe organ, which local boosters claim to be the largest in the world.''

I thought it was about Mungo when it mentioned a `two pound keg of mail-it-home salt water taffy'

but then it went on to say `.......pipe organ, which local boosters claim to be the largest in the world.''

..then I knew it wasn't him
