Medway "Posh Car Meet" - Thursday 18th September

Hi all,

You may remember we held a "Medway Posh Car Meet" at the Hungry Fox Pub, near the Savacentre in Hempstead, Kent about 5 or 6 weeks ago?

Well....back by popular demand I hope to hold another one Thursday week (that's the 18th).

Of course weather is now getting colder and chances of rain slightly higher, so doing it sooner rather than later would probably be a good idea.

I'm posting today to gauge the interest, if people would like to do it again ?

For those of you who aren't aware, we held a meeting of many different marques of car just of J4 of the M2 one evening. We had TVR's (Tuscan,Cerbera,ChaimeraGriffith), Lotus' (340R's,Elise'), Caterham's (Duratec,R500....), Porsche (993RS...) Westfield, and the night was thoroughly loved by all, especially because of the range of cars present. We had 29 cars in total turn up from all over the south-east (not just Medway Towns, or even Kent!).

Great night last night Tony, thanks, it was a real treat seeing the Diablo & NSX there, and I got to sit in the Diablo . That thing is awesome, mind you, I think your grin was wider than mine after you returned from a blast up/down the road in it !!.

Seriously.....I have told everybody I have come into contact with today. Every phonecall I've had to Europe, they now know (Italians, Spanish, Norwegians, French) and when USA wake up they'll be hearing about it too.

They'll get bored of me soon, but for the time being - I am still smiling like a stupidly smiling smiley person

Just like to add our thanks as well - totally enjoyed it, meeting up with old friends and new ones - excellent way to spend a Thursday. A big thank you to the Diablo/NSX/Porsche guys who made the journey from London and made our evening.

Tony, thx for organising the evening, still don't know how we managed to get lost on the way there... either down to your instructions or Steve (Trackdemon) not being able to read them???... I can't really moan as I wasn't even organised enough to print a copy out for myself.... anyway, a nice run out, and good to chat to a few PH'ers.

PS. They need to lengthen the Medway tunnel and put a few bends in it!!!
