Gauging interest in L-B meet / beer

Anyone up for a mini meet (ie ) in Leighton Buzzard?

If there's enough interest, I'll try to sort something out (along with persuading the missus to let me out for a few )

OK, so if I've followed the other thread right (plus this one), there's atleast seven of us:

I'm assuming that everyone wants to meet up with cars which rules out the town center pubs (except the bottom Bell, but church square's always full). So, I'd suggest one of:

Grove Lock
The Globe
Hare and Hounds @ Ledburn

A Tuesday or Thursday night suit me best. So I'll put forward:

Thursday 28th Aug, 8:00 at the Hare and Hounds.

Sorry LB-PHers,

I've had to change the date to 28th August. I've just been told I've got to attend a "presentation skills" course in London on the 21st It's not the course that annoys me, it's that I probably won't get to go because of workload, and my place will get cancelled at the last minute (ie the company still pays but no-one goes) and then there's no budget for me to get training when I'm not so busy

Anyway: Same place, same time, different date!!!!

I do the opposite most weekdays, record of a saturday morning (early) is 14 mins - not bad for the little beasty!

I have a vague recolection of seeing the NSX around LB last weekend - if you see (ducks for cover) a silver astra with PH stickers, thats me! M will be runnable soon, honest.......!

So, yes, beer, soon! Unfortunately tuesdays and thursdays are fairly poor for me, as are mondays wednesdays and fridays really unless it's early on (missus at work, looking after little one...) in which case globe could be done if it's child friendly, or failing that, wherever is. Full_Chat, who's working on the restoration with me, may be able to tiv along too.

Let us know when/where etc!

The NSX of course, no point having a car if you're not going to use it everyday

occasionally I'll take the golf, but it's not the most comfortable of commuting cars, it's a little on the noisy side and a bit highly strung!

Well, I was right! My place on the course was cancelled this morning.

Anyway, I'll leave the arrangment as it currently stands:
